Request permanent deletion of your profile, telemetry data, or select specific data to purge
At Vetted Voter, we respect your data and privacy. You have full control over your account. If you wish to delete your account or specific data categories, you can do so directly within the mobile application settings, or by submitting this request form.
What happens when you delete your account?
Profile Details: Your registration email, password hash, party affiliation, home address, state, and county are permanently deleted from our active database.
Voting Telemetry: All of your legislative stance records (Support, Oppose, Neutral) are completely deleted, and the global telemetry charts will be updated to reflect this subtraction.
Citizen Reviews & Ratings: Any public text reviews or star ratings you have left on elected representatives or bills will be permanently deleted.
Partial Data Deletion (Without Deleting Your Account)
If you wish to delete only specific categories of data without deleting your Vetted Voter profile, you can request that we remove:
Legislative Stances: Clear your historical vote support/oppose stances on all bills.
Representative Reviews: Delete all comments and star ratings left on elected officials.
Profile Address: Reset your location address and home county to basic levels.
You can perform these actions instantly in the app under the Profile tab, or request them via the form below.
Data Retention
Once submitted, data deletion requests are processed immediately. We do not keep any backup archives or residual data. Deletions are permanent and cannot be undone.
